Does you pet have smelly breath?

If your pet has smelly breath, the cause could be dental disease.

As animals don't brush their teeth every day like us, plaque, tartar and calculus build up on their teeth. As this build up accumulates, smelly breath will become more noticeable. Plaque and tartar build up if left for too long can result in gum recession and wobbly teeth.

We routinely perform dental procedures to get rid of this build up by scaling and polishing the teeth. All of our animals undergoing a full dental exam get dental xrays, and from these xrays we are able to see what the roots of the teeth are doing, and whether they may need to be removed.

If you're concerned about your pets smelly breath, or think they may have some form of dental disease, then call the clinic to book a dental health check.
