Going Pink for Breast Cancer
This month, our clinic helped to raise funds for the National Breast Care Foundation by going pink! Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, with eight women dying from the disease every day.
From the 3rd to the 7th of June, our entire clinic was decorated pink! Our team and even a few furry friends got involved by wearing pink clothing and accessories to help raise awareness of breast cancer and raise much needed funds. These funds went to the National Breast Care Foundation to help research and discover more effective treatments, to create better screening tests that are more accurate in detection and help determine the most effective treatments. The National Breast Care Foundation aims to have 0 deaths due to breast cancer by 2030 and we are proud to help them work to this goal.
